Where do you ship?

We ship nationwide across America.
We currently are not shipping to Hawaii or Alaska.

Will you carry A5?

Japanese Wagyu beef is raised consuming alcohol, and not halal. Therefore, we do not source it.

Why is your meat so expensive?

Many factors come into play here. The first would be the care for the animals. Our farmers ensure sustainable and ethical practices. This means consuming a proper diet and keeping the cattle to graze full term, which in turn costs our farmers more money. In addition, only 2% of cattle can be graded as Prime beef. It’s an art to curate masterpieces like Wagyu and Prime Beef.

Where are your farms?

We have farms in California, the Midwest, Australia, and Tasmania.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We want to make checkout as easy as possible for you. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and more. For more information, see the footer of our website. Sorry, EBT is not accepted.

When will I get my order?

We ship daily, Monday -Thursday. If your order is placed by Wednesday 3PM PST, you will receive it the same week. Furthermore, you’ll receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships. All boxes are shipped via UPS NEXT DAY AIR.

What if I receive my delivery late?

Contact UPS and file a claim. Please note: the information you see on the UPS website is exactly what we see. Once your box leaves our facility, we no longer have control of the delivery.

 

Do you sell grass-fed beef?

All our beef is grass-fed. They vary by finish to ensure that you find the right fit for your family.

Is your meat zabiha?

All our meats are certified zabiha halal.

Is your meat slaughtered by hand?

Yes, our meats are hand slaughtered without recordings of recitations.

How do you package your products?

All our meats come vacuum sealed and frozen at peak freshness. They are sandwiched between ice blocks and wrapped in an insulated bag and then placed in a double corrugated box. Please note that it’s normal for the meat to slightly defrost during the shipping process. For best consumption, thaw in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Do I need to be home when my shipment arrives?

No. If you feel your package is not safe on your doorstep, please have it delivered to your nearest UPS locker. Honest Meat Co. is not responsible for stolen boxes.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

UPS does not ship perishable items to P.O. BOXES. A physical address is necessary for all orders.

Will you be offering a subscription service?
